So I modified my mount.cmd script as follows. So I've been injecting drivers into index:1 all day with no success on a Dell E5470, but when exported the boot.wim and mounted index:2 to inject the same drivers, only then was I able to get the laptop to boot to the network. Even if you use WDS to install drivers, it loads up index:1, but then deploys index:2 to the client. Here's the deal - we typically mount index:1 for all our needs, but when there's two indexes, WDS tends to load index 2 of the boot.wim because it's the "Windows Setup" index. Run the following commands, which will tell you what your flash drive's drive letter is: As soon as the setup loads (once the purple screen shows up for Windows 10 setup), press Ctrl F10. For x86, the e1d6564 would be replaced with e1d6532:Ĭopy the following files to a flash drive: e1d6564.inf, e1d6564.sys, e1d6564.din, e1d6564.cat The automatic deployment issue with the l82579LM driver was solved by Intel in a later release, so hopefully the I219-LM will be fixed as well. ![]() This was similar (identical) to Intel l82579LM driver deployment issues I was having with a WinPE 3.0 (Windows 7 Setup) boot.wim. The driver will inject manually, but not automatically. I just fought with this on my WDS server (Precision Tower 3420, Intel I219-LM NIC, WinPE 10 x86 boot) and got it to work. The drivers in there (e1s) don't work for this, so don't bother trying them. John, there will be a WinPE folder in the \NDIS65 folder. The \NDIS64 folder contains drivers for Windows 8.1. Use the mentioned Driver by Intel -> no Success Load Driver from different vendors, as Dell, HP, Lenonvo ->no success I search now more then 2 days for this to resolve but get slowly tiered. I try to inject slowly all Driver i can find at the WEB for the Intel I219-LM Card but without Success. ![]() I can do this over the Dell Image Assist tool per USB Stick. I use the same boot.wim and environment to install all our previous model's as E6440 E6540 E7240 all working fine with W7 and W10. We get new Dell Latitude E5470 Laptops and i try to build a W10 image for them to deploy over our WDS Environment.įor Win7 it works fine, i can inject over DISM all Driver and image the laptop without any issue. ![]()
